What is PNR ?
PNR in Irctc terms is Passenger Name record ( PNR ). It is Used by Indian Railways to Store passenger data with a Unique Number in there Computer Database . Its is Used by Passengers to Check there Train reservation status . If The Ticket is confirmed it will show the Berth Number , Coach Number and If the ticket is not confirmed .i.e its in wait list or RAC it will show the waitlist Number or RCA wait list Number .
Wait list and RAC will change after the chart preparation is done the Indian Railways .Normally Chart preparation is Done 4 hours before the Train Departure but its not in all the case some time if the train departs in morning then the chart is prepared in night around 6 7 hours before as from 12 am to 8 am Irctc Platform windows and Irctc online reservation is Closed .
